Who are we ?

CHRONO Flex was founded in 1995 in Nantes by 3 business owners looking for a solution to the problems they encountered in their work.

CHRONO Flex began operating with just a single vehicle. The mobile hydraulic hose repair service was so successful that soon CHRONO Flex added more vehicles.

Today, CHRONO Flex is the national leader with 270 repair vehicles spread across the whole of France, and the business is developing internationally.

Since the creation of CHRONO Flex in 1995, another eight companies have been created.

The inov-On group, of which CHRONO Flex is now a part, was created in 2008 to assist in the smooth running of all nine businesses.

The story of CHRONO Flex

  • 1995
  • Founding of the company “Assistance Flexible” which later should become Flex’Cible: 3 person team with only 1 service car.
  • 1996
  • Installation of our first site in Carquefou. Set up of a team of 6 people. We had at the time 4 service cars (Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, Rennes and Angers).
  • 1997
  • Structuration of the company with the establishment of a commercial service, technical service and a training pole.
  • 1998
  • 16 departments covered by 26 collaborators. The Company becomes the french leader of urgent onsite hydraulic hose assistance.
  • 1999
  • First on-board computer.
  • 2000
  • 71 service cars, over 3 000 clients.
  • 2002
  • Flex’Cible becomes CHRONO Flex
  • 2003
  • 170 collaborators. Setting up of CHRONO Flex in Guadeloupe with one vehicle.
  • 2004
  • Third vehicle in Martinique.
  • 2005
  • 160 service cars, 230 collaborators, launch of the FIMs (Fast Intervention Motorcycles) around Paris, birth of the Maintenance Contract in France, Second service car in Guadeloupe, and implantation in Spain and Switzerland.
  • 2006
  • 10 years of existence, 280 collaborators, confirmation of the french leadership, development of the Prevention Plan, launch of the 200th vehicle in France and CHRONO Flex creates a branch in Italy.
  • 2007
  • 225 service cars, 100 000 interventions (all branches accumulated), 300 collaborators and implantation in Sweden and Reunion Island.
  • 2008
  • Reorganization of the capital and birth of the inov-On group to which CHRONO Flex is attached.
  • 2009
  • Crisis year, 180 vehicles, 220 collaborators, 75 000 interventions (65 000 in France), over 10 000 clients. Implantation in Belgium.
  • 2010
  • A year of stabilisation and reconstruction. Launch of the new on-board computer tool: the communicating PDA (geolocalisation tool) and implantation in Guyana.
  • 2011
  • Launch of the new service car. Calculation of the Carbon Footprint (volume of Co²) for all interventions (and integration on the reports).
  • 2012
  • Implantation in Mayotte with 1 vehicle.
  • 2013
  • Our objective: Accompany our clients to the end of the world…
  • 2015
  • CHRONO Flex thanks its clients for their loyalty and blows its 20th birthday candle.
  • 2017
  • New vision shared by CHRONO Flex and the whole group inov-On: “Committed together for a better world”.

Thanks to live location data sent from our vehicles plus our integrated IT system, with internet-enabled PDAs for each technician, our Customer Services Centre can tell you how long it will take our technician to reach you in real time.
